The new Augmented Reality (AR) mobile app, available exclusively for the Apple iPad, offers three main functions: a customizable AR experience for both Cyclo® Bevel BuddyBox® (BBB) products, an in-depth look at all of the Cyclo® BBBs’ internal and external features, and an opportunity to connect directly to Sumitomo’s representatives and online resources.
Virtual product display is extremely beneficial in a wide range of industries because it allows for a non-present object to appear virtually in an extremely realistic way. With PT Experience, users can visualize their custom Sumitomo product at their desk or see how it fits into their specific industrial application. This allows a user to view and interact with Sumitomo’s products virtually in the real world, without having the products physically present.
Designed to visualize Sumitomo’s premiere right angle, spiral bevel product lines and educate the power transmission and controls industry on the robust features of the Cyclo® Bevel BuddyBox® 4 and 5 series, PT Experience: Cyclo® BBB is available on the Apple App Store in English and is optimized for the latest versions of the Apple iOS and iPad displays.
